Travis Willson, Principal
Travis Willson is the Principal/Owner at Veritas Architecture + Design. Travis has always been fascinated by the relationship between architecture and communities and is passionate about rethinking the way these two entities interact. How can we create better connections in public places? How can internal and external spaces better flow together? How can architecture positively influence the way individual spaces are utilized? Travis has explored these questions on every project he has managed in his twenty-year career, from redesigning educational buildings to renovating historical structures.
In addition to providing architectural and design services, Travis has been a speaker for Associations including AIA, USGBC, Kansas Association of School Boards as a subject matter expert. Providing valuable insight on harnessing sustainable design methods for direct economic gain; understanding the roles of family and economic disparity across districts; optimizing site selection in relation to existing district buildings and the context of your community.

Addison Bliss, Principal
Addison Bliss is a licensed architect with over 10 years experience in projects ranging from custom designed playgrounds and equipment to international airports. Addison’s experience includes a full process understanding of project needs and business-minded decision making in the construction process. He has experienced construction projects from the owner’s, contractors, and architect’s perspective, and brings a cooperative approach to make building projects successful.
The strongest value Addison holds is quality control and quality delivery of his projects. A close second value is transparency in the design and construction process, focused around active and clear communication as a means of providing the highest quality construction experience for his clients.

Taylor Mingolla, Business Development Director
Taylor is a dynamic force in business development and marketing, bringing over a decade of experience in driving growth for small to medium-sized companies across various industries. As Business Development Director at Veritas Architecture + Design, she spearheads strategic initiatives, cultivates client relationships, and ensures the firm’s presence at key industry events.
Rooted in her upbringing within a General Contracting household, Taylor seamlessly bridges her passion for design and construction with her expertise in fostering meaningful connections and delivering results-driven strategies.

- Born and raised in East Tennessee.
- LOVES music and had a vocal performance scholarship in college.
- Enjoys seizing every opportunity to travel the world and get lost in nature.
Travis Gunter, Project Leader
With over 20 years of experience spanning diverse project types, Travis Gunter serves as a seasoned project leader at Veritas Architecture + Design. From private residences to federal facilities, his portfolio reflects expertise in designing and managing multi-million-dollar projects. Having held roles in architecture and construction, including business ownership, Travis brings a pragmatic and client-focused approach to every project.
Initially drawn to architecture for its creative problem-solving potential, Travis combines a passion for craftsmanship with hands-on experience in design-build, ensuring thoughtful details and constructible solutions in his work.
Fun Facts:
- Always in for an outdoor activity, especially if it involves wilderness.
- Music trivia occupies far too much of my headspace.
- I own a '51 Chevy Pickup that is in a perpetual project 'phase.'
Todd Redburn, Architect
Licensed architect, Todd Redburn, brings ten years design industry experience and a passion for problem solving and client satisfaction to the firm. Versed in Revit, CAD, construction documentation, and all phases of project delivery, he also has experience with residential design-build, construction, and project management.
Todd’s diverse design experience, from residential, mixed use, industrial, and pharmaceutical processing projects, and his advocacy for sustainability, pragmatism, and incremental development, distinguishes him in the field.

- Enjoy hiking, disc golf, & catching live music.
- Has a degree in Film.
- Can make a mean pizza.
Jenny Sanders, Project Manager
Jenny Sanders has over 15 years of experience bringing clients’ visions to reality. Jenny got her start working in a very small firm, gaining lots of experience in all areas of the process. She has experience in various types of projects from commercial buildings, private residences/renovations, and tenant finishes over the years.
Jenny enjoys developing client relationships that allow projects to flow and develop to their full potential. Her work at Veritas has broadened her experience on larger projects.

- Loves spending time with family and friends at The Lake of the Ozarks.
- Personally loves to complete home renovation projects.
- Enjoys preparing delicious, yet healthy, meals.
Justin Luzius, Project Leader
Justin Luzius is an architectural designer with over a decade of experience delivering innovative, purpose-driven design across commercial, residential, and retail sectors. His work reflects a strong foundation in spatial logic, technical coordination, and client-focused solutions. Currently pursuing architectural licensure, Justin is also the founder of UMOS, a modular furniture startup exploring how 3D printing can redefine flexibility and function in modern design. He brings a balanced approach of creativity, precision, and leadership — combining hands-on experience with a vision for scalable, impactful design.

- A lifelong soccer player whose competitive mindset carries over into his leadership and problem-solving style.
- Founded UMOS to integrate 3D printing and modular thinking into the future of architectural product design.
- The author of a children's book series that introduces architecture and engineering to young readers through imaginative storytelling.
Alex Overbay, Jr. Project Leader
Alex joins the team with over 5 years of experience in projects such as industrial warehouses, convenience stores, big box retail and grocery stores. Much of his experience is in renovating buildings ranging from a couple months old to over 100 years old. This experience has taught him a great deal about construction practices through the ages and given him exposure to a plethora of innovative solutions to unique challenges. In his current role at Veritas, he draws from these experiences to influence his own creative problem solving to deliver projects that seamlessly blend constructability, functionality, and aesthetics.
Alex approaches every project with an inclination for detail, a passion for quality, and an insatiable curiosity for building science. He loves learning and has a strong desire to use what he has learned to serve his clients and bring their dreams and goals to life.

- Loves going on walks with his beautiful Fiancé and the cutest corgi ever (Arthur).
- Really misses building architectural models for school projects and is picking up a woodworking hobby to scratch that itch for creativity and craftsmanship.
- Always down for an outdoor activity, especially if it involves a little friendly athletic competition.
Jessica Fellers, Designer
With over nine years of experience, Jessica Fellers, is skilled in multiple facets of architecture and design. Jessica began her career in 2015 as a design consultant through The Tile Shop. Working alongside both amateur and professional clientele. She advised customers throughout their projects from material selection to project completion. As a design consultant, Jessica gained experience in preparing selection sheets and construction documents, as well as learned the value of thorough and informed communication to guide the project life cycle.
In her current role with Veritas Architecture + Design, Jessica is responsible for material selection, material specification and the development of construction documents. She works closely with clients guiding them through each phase of the design process to pinpoint and develop their vision, and maintains professional relationships with vendors, manufacturers and product representatives to optimize options available to Veritas clientele.

Vanessa Harbin, Technician
Vanessa Harbin came to Computer-Aided Drafting and Design with a foundation of over 15 years of experience in print and online graphic design. She employs her client-focused attention to detail, computer graphics acumen, and dedication to quality-on-deadline in her current work as a drafting technician, supporting Veritas’ architects creating and updating Revit models and construction documents.

Marc Villanueva, Designer
Marc Villanueva is an individual with an eye for detail and precision. He is a recent graduate from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Kansas City, MO, native. He enjoys tackling intricate projects that engage his curiosity and architectural knowledge. He also excels in tight deadlines and under pressure.
His prior experience as an interior remodeler and a later architectural design internship equipped him with valuable industry insights, especially in construction and design principles, which aids him in connecting conceptual design with practical execution.
